A Memorial Prayer Service for Victims of the Nargis Cyclone in Burma
Dear Friends of Burma and the Burmese Community,
We would like to invite you to join us and pray for those who are victims of the cyclone, which have devastated hundreds of thousands of lives and places across Rangoon and Irrawaddy delta region.
We will gather at our Burmese community monastery (Mingalarama Vihara) to comfort and express solidarity with one another in our shock at what has happened in our motherland and to pray for those whose family members have died or are missing or have lost homes and livelihoods.
